Anthony Martinez an artist/Radio dj was born and raised out of Riverside California. One day Anthony's parents took a vacation to the Hawaiian islands and brought back some island music CDs featuring bruddah israel kamakawiwo'ole. Anthony loved the music so much his father took him back to Hawaii to check out the music and culture of they islands. Over the years he found him self flying over the Pacific Ocean frequently to get his fix of island music. Every year his biggest trip was to attend the festival "The Taste of Lahaina" (which no longer exists) where all the Hawaiian island biggest stars should head out and play. Willie k, Ekolu, Ho'onu'a ,Malino & Maoli just to name a few would put on show for the festive for two days. Anthony love this music so much that he wounded why he could never hear it on the mainland. One day he saw on the Internet how to start a radio station and thought "Man that's cool I should start an island station to get the word out about this awesome music know one gets to hear". So thinking what to call it he hand no clue till his wife bought him a shirt that said always high. She laughed and said you sought name it always high cause it like you. They both laughed and he got to thinking and thought hmmm alway high, why not. The abbreviation for Hawaii is Hi. That's it he said and Always-HI.com was born.

Know it was time to get things started. Having knowledge in the music business Anthony wanted to make things right and legal.  Making sure all the music that was being played on Always-HI radio   Paid the artist he made sure he was licensed by ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. By do this all the island artist not only get their music out and exposed they are getting paid for there music as well.

Always-HI radio has become one of the biggest Internet radio stations playing all the best music from Hawaii . Always HI radio has become so big Anthony had to create the always hi radio app so you can listen to Alway HI Radio in the car and on the go. Alway-HI radio can currently be heard not only on the always-hi.com site and our app but on live365.com, apple, android, roku, TiVo & western digital devices. Always-HI.com is becoming so big it is know becoming a social network for people who love the islands and island music but a place for artist to get there music out there to the world .
